Prose We Live By: Denmark as Text Culture

Centre for Genre Research will host a conference at the University of Copenhagen 20-21 April 2017.

Keynotes:

Professor Amy Devitt, University of Kansas, and professor Charles Bazerman, University of California, Santa Barbara, are invited as keynote speakers and will present international perspectives on state-of-the-art within research of non-literary prose.

Call for abstracts:

Deadline: Abstracts of 250 words are received 24 February at 16:00 pm at the latest. Abstracts should be sent to jack.andersen@hum.ku.dk marked ’Bemærkelsesværdig sagprosa’ in the subject field. Notification of acceptance are issued 17 March, 2017.

Organization:

The conference is supported by the Carlsberg Foundation and is organized by assoc. prof., PhD, Jack Andersen (The Royal School of Library and Information Science, University of Copenhagen) in collaboration with assoc. prof., PhD, Christine Isager (Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, University of Copenhagen) and assist. prof., PhD, Christina Matthiesen (Danish School of Education, Aarhus University).
